Health Science

MVTPC Career Tech Students enrolled in a health sciences program that are interested in pursuing one of Sinclair's 20 Degree Programs, will follow the Tech Prep Health Sciences Policy and Procedures. Sinclair believes in assisting area career technical education students to transition to Sinclair, by reserving up to 10% of the open enrollment seats annually for graduating Tech Prep students who meet their program prerequisites by the spring of their high school graduation year. For more information on the policy and procedures, please review the student policy and rubric.
Programs included in this career cluster emphasize planning, managing, and providing therapeutic services, diagnostic services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development.

Please note: These POS templates are meant to be a guide for adminstrators who wish to complete new and renewal CTE-26 applications for the ODE and to provide general program of study guidance for prospective Sinclair students. The templates do not provide department approved course sequences for students to follow. That is, the courses may be presented out of order. It is best for students to consult with an academic advisor in order to plan a semester by semester course schedule in order to meet the requirements for their certificates and degree programs.
